I bought a few bottles of this outstanding Rogue beer and as I was tasting it I was wondering about the legitimacy of its attributed Maibock description. In my opinion this is rather a very good ESB than a maibock. Any other opinions?

I recently dropped by Denison Brewery and was pleasantly surprised to find this new brew on tap. It's brewed in the Bavarian style and it successfully fits in the rauchbier family. It shows a nice smoked malt flavor enveloped by a slight bitterness. Good job. <font size=-1>[ This Message was edited ...

As much as I appreciate your trying to distribute your porter to different pubs in Toronto area I will remind you there are some of us that live too far from downtown Toronto and would appreciate availability at least in one major LCBO store that we can easily access. <font size=-1>[ This Message wa...

Just brew it and have it sold at Bayview Village LCBO and possibly Queensquay LCBO and you'll make a lot of people happy.

Sometimes I get the feeling that we are too prone towards criticizing some brews that are unique and commendable, especially for the Ontario beer market. The other day I happened to overhear a conversation at Queensquay LCBO between a customer and a LCBO employee where the customer kind of rejected ...

It's finally made its presence at Queensquay LCBO along with County Ale and Iron Duke Strong Ale in nice 650ml bottles. Something that will really make a difference in our stout selection.

I'm interested in two cases of hopdevil and maybe one of old horizontal.

This is the best beer news I got this year. Hopefully LCBO will order enough of it.

Looks like quite a few of our fellow torontonian beer drinkers made a stop at Premier Gourmet, since when I got there, Saturday at about 7PM, many of the labels were missing from the shelves. Fortunately, with a selection this large there was still plenty to choose from. Good job Lyle. <font size=-1...

I wonder if anyone knows if buying tickets on the spot will be a problem and also some convenient parking spots in the area.

Actually I thought I was the only one who noticed LCBO beer mishandled but now when I saw your posting I'm happy someone else noticed it too. I once tried to explain to a few employees at an LCBO next to my place that Creemore Springs Lager and Niagara Falls brewery products are supposed to be store...

Entirely subscribe to Josh's opinion on this particular one. Anyway I bought a whole case since it's a rare occurence on the canadian market.
