8 was brewed by a small micro in Amos, QC up until a couple of years ago. It was a belgian pale ale or something similar. As far as I know they have not brewed the beer for at least 2 years now. It was a good beer, so if they are planning on a large operation, with perhaps a few more beers in the line up, it would be real good news.

My understanding is the start-up group has purchased some of the equipment from the old Celis Brewery which was at 45000 bbl when Miller closed it. This is not equipment that can be run on 20 hl batches so I have high expectations.

I'm confused. Obviously :wink:

Is someone saying Jenlain = Macro ? I don't think so. I was at the brewery in the town of Jenlain last year. How big can a Micro get before being Macro ?
