I was at the Paddock last Friday night, finishing off what was a interesting night of pubcrawling through our first snowstorm of the year.

I have always known the Paddock as a place of decent beers - not much spectacular - although they do have probably the cheapest bottled Maudite I have seen in the city.

However, on Friday they had on tap both Blanche de Chambly and McAuslan St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout. I don't remember the other taps they had - these were all we needed. They even served Blanche in its appropriate logo glass from Unibroue - unfortunately this means you only get 12oz. per serving. Kudos to the Paddock for tapping these fine Quebec brews.

The Paddock is located on Bathurst St., just south of Queen St. on the west side.
