Waterloo recommends?

Heading to Waterloo this weekend. Any recommended pubs for craft brews?

I did a keyword search in this forum, got some hits, but couldn't read the posts. Got an "access denied" message.

Kick Off is my favourite place in Waterloo. It is in the plaza between the 2 universities.

I hope that wasn't the plaza which had the terrible fire 2 weeks ago!

It is the same plaza, but the fire was on the other side (RIP Mel's). There is a whole parking lot area that is between the fire and where Kick Off is, so I'm assuming the businesses there are operating as usual.

Thanks guys. I've checked out a lot of places from your posts. Seems like the challenge is to find good beer and a good menu/kitchen in the same place (for the people with me who don't share my growing passion for micro beers!).
