Taps & The Syndicate

I always make a point of stopping in at Taps, when coming back from the States, just to have a pint of Sinister Sam's IPA ( formerly Chuck Norris )

Don't forget that you can go to its partner, The Syndicate, at Lundy's Lane & Dorchester ( right off Hwy 420 )
Some of the same beers, but the food may be better there.

Stop in at one, or both. I think you'll find it worthwhile.

I'm guessing these guys don't keep a Twitter/Facebook page?

Regardless, I might stop in with the guys for some pints and food if there's anything interesting on tap.

Actually, they have FB pages for both of their locations - although they seem to post a lot about bands that are playing and swag they are selling, and not much about the beer or food...

I frequent the syndicate in st catharines often. The pre fixed menu is 3 courses for @20 and is a hell of a deal. My favourite off the menu is the lamb shank. The beers are all tasty, and the odd time they have something note worthy. Last time I went the new offering was a brown ale. It was a great brown ale, but nothing to write home about. If you plan on going you will have to make a reservation for dinner. Even with you often end up waiting a little.

The Black IPA currently at Taps is pretty nice.
