The Lancaster Smokehouse K-W

Post by The Mick »

Stopped by here today and it's a pretty awesome place. Great food, lots of seats and lots of craft. Aside from the pseudos like Rolling rock, it's a 100% craft line up; 6 taps and about 15 different bottles. Nothing outrageous, but anyone looking for some great food and a craft beer would be crazy not to drop into this place if their in the area. As soon as you walk through the door the beautiful smokey aroma will make your mouth water.
I don't always drink beer ... because sometimes my friends win and we have to go to macro-only establishments.

I did not know about this place. I've been to Hog Tails before, and I think they only had Big Rock in terms of craft back then and just bottles.

This is good news as its a lot closer to me than Hog Tail's was. Gonna have to check it out soon.

Thanks!

Just found out about the Lancaster Smokehouse tavern. Looks like they are taking craft beer fairly seriously:

Been going here since it opened.

Great (real) food, great beer, great service, great prices, cute waitresses, blues music all the time.

Love it. Love it so very much.

I finally made it to Lancaster Smokehouse and was very impressed. Apart from the half dozen or so permanent craft taps, the four guest taps were Neustadt Oktoberfest, Northwinds IPA (unclear which, exactly, but presumably the Corduroy Rye), Mill St Pumpkin and Lake of Bays Red. Food was good. Only about a five minute drive from Wilfrid Laurier U. If, like me, you have a dependent there, this is a very good find!

You are correct, sir.
I used to sell beer. Now I don't.
