So the Film Festival is coming up again, and it begs the question - what are the best pubs for a drink or a snack in between or after screenings?

I often like 7 West, which is close to the Uptown and the Varsity. I think they only have a bottled beer selection, but its a nice place for a quiet drink and has a great "artsy" atmosphere which matches well with the fest.

Hi, I just joined this Forum today. During the Festival I usually go to The Duke of Gloucester:

The best, closest venue for a choice of beers during the fest is the Bedford Academy. The food is better than most pub menus and they have a decent, though predictable, selection of beer. I'd pick the B.A. as it is only a half block from the Hyatt and the Four Seasons which are always festival central.
