The Granite
The Granite is a stalwart on our brewing and brewpub scene. Great beers, excellent, well-priced food, and nice ambiance enhanced by recent redecorating, e.g. the wood-paneled bathrooms.
On a visit tonight, the IPA was as English as ever and the well-balanced Darkside Black IPA proved the pub keeps up with the trends. I hear tell of new beers to come.
All hail to the Granite.
Gary

Me too - I used to live at Yonge and Davisville, and would go there a lot! All those memories are with my ex, so it'd be nice to build some new ones!
My wife went to school in Nova Scotia and frequented the Halifax pub a lot...

Grew up in the neighbourhood..went to high school right up the street...Granite is a great local bar...and they make their own stuff! Definitely unique in the neighbourhood..always has been..
Good to hear their stout is good...tried most of their usual fare except the stout...all good..
Cheers,

Remember that guy about a year back, who maimed some baby raccoons, because they were getting into his garden every night? Everyone thought he was cruel...Torontoblue wrote:We stopped going after my wife got bitten by one when we were on the back patio!Derek wrote:I haven't been there in a 'coons age!grub wrote: just watch out for the local wildlife!
I think that guy should be the next mayor...

Only time I picked Miller Lite was when I voted for Pantalone.
