Elephant and Castle? Anything half decent?

Post by JeffPorter »

Some colleagues from work are having a social at the King St Elephant and Castle this weekend.

I haven't been there in years. Is there anything decent on tap there these days?

Edit: Wasn't there a post some time ago, about them changing their taps?

I suppose it depends on what you mean by decent. They have the typical English pub beers. From the ones I recall that I'd drink are London Pride, Steam Whistle and Creemore. Sadly, most pubs in the immediate vicinity (block or 2) seem to offer similar or worse selection.

I guess I was thinking "Ontario Craft".

I was there the other day, as far as Ontario Craft - Creemore springs and Steam Whistle it is..

I ended up skipping the "after rally" meet up with colleagues at E and C and ended up going to Bellwoods instead...
