One thing I'll miss living in Toronto is living across the street from the Cooper St. private order pick up building :(
Oh dear, a beer man moving to KW. I have visions of a fish out of water flopping around. :(

What is taking you away from our fair city?

Lots of reasons, which I'll be happy to discuss over a pint, but I will not bore bartowellers with them here...

And I did grow up in rural Eastern Ontario - I am familiar with beer wastelands..

But I dunno - I just spent the day in Waterloo today - I stopped by the Castle on King, which has a tap lineup the rivals Volo/Victory/Beer Bistro including a very fresh cask and an extremely hoppy house ale - and I went to large new LCBO (on Northfield I think) that had a very good selection - add to that I'll likely make the trip a little further south to fill up on Grand River growlers for the weekends - beerwise, I'll be just fine. I'll miss Toronto beerwise, Volo and regular group tastings particularly, and I'll be back often, but don't worry about me :)

Ok, can people definitely interested in some of the Mikkeller products send me a PM with your email address and how many you would like to take of each.

Here are the beers and what the price/bottle works out to be:

BEER GEEK BREAKFAST 500ml $7.67
STATESIDE INDIA PALE ALE 500ml $7.67
JACKIE BROWN 660ml $9.17

I will then work out the cases needed and get an order in, and once it arrives can work out pickup details in Kitchener or Cambridge.

Sign me up for the Mikkeller IPA, and the Beer Geek Breakfast (if that's being ordered as well). I'll take a couple bottles of each.

Rochefort 10 has never been "bad"...it's always been a bargain in Ontario. You'll never see it at the LCBO and your alternative is to drive to Buffalo and pay even more. We just received a new shipment of 6, 8 & 10 along with Floreffe Double, Barbar, Mort Subite Gueuze, Westmalle Dubbel and Maredsous 6, 8 & 10. All available in cases of 24 x 330ml. Let me know if you're interested.

Sorry for the delay on this, things got a bit busy. Will be placing the order in the next couple days for some Stateside IPA and BGB from Mikkeller. Just waiting to hear back on availability of the southern tier creme brulee to possibly order at the same time (so if you are insterested in some of the creme brulee too, let me know)

So far I have the following people down for the Mikkeller products:
Beer Geek
Illuminatus
kmallett
sphilp
Kwailo

If you are not in that list and interested, let me know ASAP.

Well, I'll be there soon enough, sign me up for everything you are ordering - I'll pick up whatever quantity needed/available. I can email money transfer any cash you need or make arrangements through beer geek if needed.
