For those interested, a new bottle store called BroueHaha opened its doors not too far from the Trappe a Fromage.

http://www.brouehaha.com/

I havent yet been there, but heard some very positive feedback. I'll head there today to take some pictures for you guys (if the owners allow me to).

Its been compared to stored like the Grand Duc in Montreal, so looking forward to it.

Is there an English option for their website?

Nope, but other then the opening hours and address, not much info of note there that you cant get from the pictures on their website.

Just dont get excited about the gift basket having Pyramid Hefeweizen and Hercules IPA in it. I'm pretty sure its just a stock photo.

There appears to be a tasting (Brasseurs du Saguenay) today (May 14) from 4pm to 9pm and tomorrow from 11am to 5pm. See the "degustations" page on the site. Looks like they be having tastings on a regular basis.

I checked out Broue Ha Ha the other day. They had quite a few beers not sold in some of the other stores around Gatineau. The tasting of the day turned out to be La Tour a Bieres from Chicoutimi. Other things that I don't see too much around here included A La Fut, Durham and Broadway. I don't really know any of these too well, but at least I now have the chance to find out :-)

Just type the web address into google and it will give you the option to translate the page into English.
