We went to Stubbies & Steins a few years ago. It was the best pub we found in town (although I don't really remember where else we went).
You should also try to visit the Swamp Head Brewery (http://swamphead.com/). They have a tasting room. It wasn't officially open when we visited, but the owner gave us samples anyways

Funny, our hotel is 6 short blocks away S&S, kind of like I planned it Hurley...... Keep the ideas coming thanks!!!
