Jacobins has been in stores for like a week now, but I suspect that wasn't the main release. I hope not anyway, or I missed it too.

I think longer because I saw it at dupont/spadina back when peche just came out. I have a feeling there may have been old stock?

Media Tasting was yesterday.

Tank 7 is just as good as it's meant to be, but the four pack sizing is sort of curious. I don't think it'll bother beer nerds, but it might put off the amateurs. More for us, says I.

Wild Ninkasi is ... I don't know whether I like it or hate it. You know that odd potting soil character you get sometimes in Altbiers? There's some of that, but there's also a lot of apple stem and seed. It's a funky wee number.

Sorachi Ace is good and should be pretty fresh. Apocalypso is nicely understated. Some of the others are just staples. Chouffe is as good as usual.

Man, using the LCBO website is clunkier than asking SIRI a question.

The Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Weizen is very good, you just really don't need to chill it much, only cool it a little to keep the nice balance and cask-like texture.

I use the 'old' site and rarely have any problem at all. I avoid the new site completely.

Certainly worth a try, although I feel like some may find the level of funk unsatisfactorily low.

Isn't it a tripel? I would expect the amount of funk to be low.

So is this Tank 7 from Boulevard or is it something else?

The Le Trou de Diable stuff that is truly amazing is rare as hen's teeth, but now I've sampled some of those I have a hint of sentimental respect for their regular offerings. The hype doesn't always help this brewery.
