Unless time is a factor, 2-4 days for $12 or 1-4 weeks to your local LCBO? Maybe those times have changed if so ignore my ignorance.

I was talking to a bar owner friend and he's under the impression licensees cannot purchase stuff online to sell in their establishment. Anyone have any more I info on that?

Missed out on the Kriek. If there is anyone in Ottawa with the Berseel. Let me know. I can help with bottles.

That would be nice. I've never been very happy that bars and restaurants can buy seasonal/limited stuff off the shelf.

If a bar does all the work to get something in for an exclusive at their place and want to charge 15x the normal price, I'm fine by that. But emptying LCBO shelves and selling at an additional markup that I didn't have to pay, no.

How is it enforced and what's the penalty? If they said repeated infractions could mean a loss of your liquor license, bar owners would never touch the stuff. For now, I think a good number of those quick sell outs may have been under-informed bar owners gobbing up the stock.

The online store seems to be doing okay with that so far.
