Q: will Rodenbach be out before or after these beer are released?

this list is pretty bleh. Moralite's the only beer i'd buy. maybe. and we've had it on tap for the past year.
would also consider the LTM beer. it's a good beer. just...not interested.

A few of these seemed to be missing the brewery name, so I have added them here (see above in bold)

There are a few other typos/errors as well.

When I have some time a bit later, I'll try and do as a I did with last month's list and add a full & correct name for each beer, while also leaving the LCBO version for ease of searching once they're released.

ya this is pretty boring, especially for those of us who can get Moralite 5 minutes away (and fresh unlike it will be by the time the lcbo is done with it)

It's encouraging that St. Louis moved well enough they bothered to bring it back so soon. That might encourage them to try other beers of the style in the future.

Gregorius should get some love. That's not a super easy beer to come by and it's got the trappist designation, which is neat.

If Green Devil or Moralite come fresh, they're both excellent IPAs. I kinda doubt they pull it off with Green Devil, but they ought to be able to do it with Moralite. DDC have done the LCBO thing before, so they ought to know how to work it.

The rest seems like high quality IPAs and Weizens of various styles that all sound decent enough if you like the styles. Nothing to line up for, but nothing to complain about either.

Nothing personally against this brewery, but generally reviews from people I know around Toronto (and on there) seem find their beers to be not that great. Why does the LCBO keep letting DIMA IMPORTS bring this brewery in when there are others that people want to see more?

Because you know as well as I do, it's not about what people like - it's about what the LCBO category manager likes. It frustrates me to no end that the decisions about which beers come into the province are made by one person (or small group of people) whose knowledge of beer is rudimentary. And those making the call don't check Untapped or RB or BA or consult with media/bar owners/brewers.

That said, in fairness to them, they are accountable to the consumer in general (not just us hardcore beer geeks) and, ultimately, to the bottom line. They keep bringing back the same shitty gift packs year after year because they sell (I would argue they sell in spite of themselves, owing to the monopoly and lack of competition, but of course that's another story...)

Agents also play a role in this. The LCBO puts out calls for products and it's up to the industry side to submit and be able to commit and comply with orders. But, again, to repeat what I said above, the system drives me nuts too. The root of the problem, I believe, is this silly notion that you can only have a finite number of beers listed. It's ridiculous.

Yeah, and it's likely not going to be the pinnacle of freshness, compared to getting it in QC.

This doesn't appear to be the same beer as Fond Tradition.

http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/st-louis-g ... tion/6098/

and the comparative ratings aren't very encouraging. :(

Yeesh. That's the 4th lowest-rated Gueuze on all of Ratebeer.
