which quad is this? Duvel doesnt make a quad, and three philosophers (Duvel owns Ommegang) is non BA

Picked up my yearly bottle of samichlaus today.....is it just me or has this gone up in price by about a dollar in the past 2 years or so?

Blame the low Canadian dollar for the increase. Samichlaus is still a bargain here though compared to other places in North America :)

I wonder if Orval will not be coming with the death of Peter, owner of the what I think is a one man agency, that distributes it. I might be wrong on the latest business arrangement.

Didn't know Peter expired. Damn, too soon. I met him briefly on three different occasions at his house while buying cases from him back when Chimay Blue, Orval and Rochefort were still a dream at the LCBO. Each time he was very enthusiastic, animated and more than willing to discuss the shortcomings of the BO. His partner lady was also very warm and hospitable. Will miss him and his great soft spot for Trappist beers.
