I went into the LCBO last night and saw this on the shelf and grabbed a few, the cashier said someone ordered it and didn't take the whole case. It's listed at a bunch of stores. Is this a general release, I didn't hear anything about this one? Nice price at $2.10 too.

I thought the LCBO had carried this in the past. Or am I thinking of another Paulaner product (not the Heffweissbier)?

I recall it being around $2.10 as well.

Yeah, looking back it was added to the general list in 2003, I just never crossed paths with it.

It might have seemed new because they tend to order it in batches. Once it sells out, it's sometimes a while before it shows up again, even though it's ``general'' list. A nice sipper, for sure, especially at the price.

I almost forgot this one, still a good salve for the absence of Weltenburger this year (because the cartons were not NASA - er I mean LCBO standards.)

A fine, fine brew indeed. Hopefully, some hit the shelves here in North York.
