Here's your good news for today - Tree Brewing just posted the following to their "Tree in Ontario" Facebook page:
Coming to the LCBO in Feb 2011 - Hophead Double IPA!

great news. the more quality brews from out west the better. With the Mt. Begbie and Cannery offerings coming soon, and now this, it seems the LCBO is starting to realize this as well.

Great news. Hopefully one of the local LCBO's up here actually stocks up on it.

Lets hope on arrival it doesn't take the LCBO another 90 days to clear it while the delicate resiny-peachy hops start to degrade into a two-dimensional woody bitterness.

This is great! I have two special hopes to go with this.

1. I hope they don't price it through the roof. The recent DDC arrivals are great but EXPENSIVE!

2. Could this possibly, finally be the tip of the iceberg for more great BC beers on the shelves? (I'm looking at you Central City, Philips, Swans and friends)
Brands are for cattle.
Fans are cash cows.
The herd will consume until consumed.

Well, the Double Hophead is priced at $7.99 in Alberta, so you could maybe use that as a guide?
