The style of the Beat the Heat is debatable. Black Oak's website says its a Belgian Wit: http://www.blackoakbeer.com/index.php/o ... -seasoned/. GregClow's ratebeer reviews debates the style also (ratebeer has it classed as a saison) http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/black-oak- ... at/419339/

Yes. It will be at the LCBO at some point this summer. Can't say for sure when.

Truly the year for saison in a can or two.
Sawdust city also has one, and Black Oak's Saison is now re-branded as Beat the Heat. That's four so far, when last year we had none.
Black Oak Beat The Heat is not a saison, neither was Black Oak's Summer Saison

I've had the gose recently at the albino rhino beer fest. It was a nice easy drinking beer. My wife and I both enjoyed it.

I'm seeing BrewDog Punk IPA showing up again, does anyone know if this is a new batch or redistribution of leftover/old stock?

On May 27 the total LCBO inventory was 23 cans. Now it is up to 1138 so i would say it's a new batch

The LCBO tweeted that it will be in stores "soon", so probably sometime before Christmas.

Is this the fall release? A couple of the beers listed seem a bit off season for summer. Although, I'll jump at the chance to try a new Belgian quad no matter what the temperature outside may be!
