The Hitachino is definitely above average. I'd say the same range as Sinha Stout from Sri Lanka.

“If you intensively busy yourself with the history of porter, closely examine its aroma profile and compare it to a classic wheat beer, you’ll soon realize that there is a basis for the development of an expressive character on this union”, says Schneider Weisse brewmaster Hans-Peter Drexler, when he explains the emergence of this new TAPX. “A historically bold but in taste ultimately a very appropriate combination of two wayward beer styles,”Drexler concludes.
- I knew there was a reason I did not pay $18 USD for this at New Beer Distributors on Chrystie. It will be cheaper here, and no evil border crossing fees.

I'd expect bombers, given past Tank Ten releases.

The Schneider Porter is only 11 bucks at Premier, not 18 like at New Beer.

PG also has the Aventinus 2013 Barrique aged 750ml for 20. I did not buy as I have no wish to deal with this one so soon.

Still no sign of this. Wonder why they would have an insert promoting it at the beginning of june when it isn't even available.

I guess this isn't coming. I was really looking forward to it.
It was in the LCBO insert over the weekend, Coming Soon $12.95 a 4 pack

Thanks yes, look a few posts up the page. I thought the price was kinda high there.

I got some Franziskaner at PG yesterday, about 2.45 per 500ml. Ayinger Weisse is good but Franzi is amazing.

I'm excited for Mission Accomplished. Burnt Rock is solid, couldn't care for the other two.
