I thought that because DDC only makes it in limited quantity it would never be a regular release?

Don't think that's correct as it was neither listed on the fall or halloween seasonal list. Don't believe me? Look it up.

Unless it was an unofficial add on to the list.

andrew - it's made year round, available year round in Quebec and also in the States (ie. Whole Foods).

Oh, oops. I thought I read somewhere it was limited release/brewed seasonally. Fail on my part.

Also means I need to go to Quebec to refuel when I run out...

ok seasonal it is, my fault for loafing on it as it's pretty cleared out in Toronto.

I am thinking (hoping) these seasonal 4-packs will continue to be an ongoing thing here from DDC. I'd love to see Aprodisiaque / Aphrodite once again!!!

I picked up a 4-pack of Rigor Mortis at Omni on Tuesday. Didn't really take note of any other 4-packs but I like this trend!

On a side note, Keep6 is offering Aphrodisiaque as a private order for the next week and a bit.

I find that private order in general to be very underwhelming.

Cool! $78 per 24.
(or hit Provigo in MTL for some 14-dollar six-packs. 8) )

I bet we see Aphrodite here again, since it's kind of a DDC flagship brand. I am not really a drinker of the Rigor Mortis Abt or the Solstice D'Hiver (or even the Peche so often anymore...) Funny my favorite DDC right now are Paradis, Rosee and Aphrodite, and I usually lean more away from broad commerical appeal.

I think the 4-pack format is extremely impressive. In a province like Quebec, where stringent testing is not mandatory, they can pump out new 4-packs without changing the packaging. Personally, it seems to expedite the process, as DDC has many new offerings available each year.
