Since wild leeks and fiddlheads are the first wild foods to pop up in spring, I'm guessing it's a wild leek and fiddlehead DIPA...

Mmmm...hoppy and garlicky! :D

The lcbo site isn't finding any mention of Thornbridges Jaipur in stock, any clues as to why?

It's excellent by the way.

How nice of you  ; picked up 6 at Royal York & left another 7 on the shelves. Good spirits should go hand-in-hand with good manners, IMO.

The Var Tripel was on the shelves there as well, as was the Unearthly & Hop Head.

BTW, is there any reason (save for uniformed staff) that the employees there would think that the spring release isn't due for a couple of months yet?

sorry, but that's possibly the dumbest thing i've read in a while.

so i should only buy 6 bottles of any beer because I assume other people will come in to that location to buy the rest?

and I should assume that a) no other bottles will be ordered, b) that someone wouldn't check other LCBO stores?

i mean, really?? that's not good manners, that's dumb manners on your part.

No; you shouldn't clear out a store. How is that not greed-head behaviour?

If you think other bottles may be ordered later, why clear out the store? And what on earth makes you think that everyone has access to more than one store that may carry it?

hmm.
so what should we do?
If there are 24 buy only 12
if there are 12 buy only 6
if there are 2 buy only 1
and if there is only 1 buy it, but wait in the parking lot to split it with the next 3 guys to come in wanting some?

I find it a bit odd that on one hand we bitch and moan about the inefficient nanny state overlords at the BO and in the next thread we bemoan the lack of socialist bread line behaviour that ensures everyone gets a morsel.
I am sure the powers that be could put a rationing system in for a few mill?

It's just beer, buy as much as you want.
If it's good beer, go early and buy more.
If you can't go early, get a new job as a waiter/bartender and then take your high wages and undeserved tips and go at 10AM and buy them out.

It's Friday night, now log off and go out and get drunk like I'm about to do
