*Re-posted from locked thread*

If all of these beers show up, this will be the best seasonal release we've seen so far. One of my favourite US DIPAs (Un*Earthly), a world-beating Belgian IPA (Lupulus), English IPA (Jaipur), and Weizenbock (Vitus), Mikkeller's first appearance at the 'BO (and Fresler is a killer doppelbock), and the return of some truly great brews like Hop Head, Var Tripel, Panil, and Westmalle Tripel. I'm actually stunned.

Now, all of the resident issues with stock levels, delays, no-shows, and Board employees having no idea what you're asking for will likely remain, but this release is an encouraging step in the right direction.

What does everyone else think?

Will be buying at least 1 of everything, save for maybe 1 or 2 of these. Will buy a few Unearthly, Lupulus, Fresler, Westmalle, Vitus and will be glad to have a couple more Panil's to age.

My hats off to the Socially responsible LCBO communist lefty socialist child murderers for a solid release.

Southern tier unearthly! YES!!

$9.60...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooo

Do they think Southern Tier stuff is brewed in solid gold tanks with blood diamonds engraved in it? 3 dollars a bottle of 355ml 2x ipa was bad enough.

Thornbridge Jaipur.. good news. Had that last year when I went to England. For 4.40 I'll have to stock up on quite a few.

meh, an extra couple bucks is worth it not to have to drive to NY to get it. i'm betting even if that was the ONLY thing i brought back i'd still pay far more than that in gas/duty/tolls/etc, to say nothing of the time component.

Nice to see Mikkeller on the list...Never had this one, but they rarely disappoint. Also - Panil was great last year...

ha! Great time to graduate eh.
I don’t care what the U.N. says, I don’t recognize countries that don’t produce beer.

That's about right. ST has its everyday bargain brews (the IPA) but these ain't them.

Also I briefly flipped out thinking the WS Vitus was the Doppelbock - nope Korbinian is the amazing Doppelbock (agghhh stop teasing us!!) - although Vitus is a solid 4/5 Weizenbock in my review of an 'old' bottle:
Derweg on RateBeer wrote:What an interesting beer, very dense texture and look. Dirty blonde and very cloudy with a copious head of white foam, aroma showing bright clove and fruit, fruit, fruit. Taste bananas and sun-ripe pear, and a bit of zingy citrus, cloves, Bubblegum. Cloves. There must be hops or the sweetness and body would be overwhelming, and the balance is actually fantastic. A real treat. I should mention the sediment was really glued to the bottom, suggesting a ’mature’ bottle was found & it did not hurt this beer.
