Picked up a case at the brewery along with some Vanilla Porter today. As i was loading it into my car a random guy walking by asked me if I had tried the Robust Porter, he was quite enthused about it. People are talking!

It is going fast. I stopped at Weston & 7 too and picked up a couple. After I left there was only 4 or 5 on the shelf.

Ouch, this one has come and gone, I'm afraid. Find a friend with a bottle and talk him/her into sharing!

Stout isn't out yet. Latest tweet from GLB is that it should be soon.

They'll announce it soon. We'll likely get some lead time, as it will hit the store first, then the LCBO a few days later.

Notice that this beer is 12.6% (maybe 12.5)? Did GLB change their minds about releasing Stalin's Choice as the fourth anniversary beer (the previous announcement said this stout would be 10% abv)?

GLB noted this is a different beer than Stalins Choice.

I doubt they had the ability to change their minds as this has been aging in bourbon barrels for months. If it came out at 12.6%, it will likely just a matter of the ABV coming out higher than anticipated or perhaps it picked up some residual alcohol from the bourbon barrels.
