C'mon guys, Trafalgar reigns supreme...

... at inducing drainpours. My friend drainpoured his first beer ever with Hop Nouveau last night and now worries he has become a 'beer snob.' Another victim of Trafalgar's poisons!

In previous years this has been golden/harvest colour with a slight haziness due to being unfiltered. Two years ago it was infected but last year and three years ago it had fresh hop noses and flavours with a detectable malt backbone.

This year it has the colour and clarity of some sick guys cloudy urine. There is virtually no carbonation nor nose. The hops, or lack thereof, have a dirty grass taste. No malt profile to speak of. I guess I would say the dominant flavour is generic yeast... and dirt.
Before seeing these posts I picked up the bottle in the LCBO, not recognizing the packaging (good move Trafalgar). When I saw what it was I thought "Ugh, Trafalgar" then I thought "OK, well they've done some decent (though maybe not good) stuff lately. Alright, what the hell."

All I can add to what Matt said is that it also manages to have next to no mouthfeel. I think they just took some malt and waved it at the tank in a threatening manner. I would compare it to dirty water, but I would be insulting water.

Has anyone had this one? Debating whether I want 4 of something I've never heard of.

Also, hello, new here.

I've had one. I don't know what to do with the other 3 however, if you catch my drift.
I used to sell beer. Now I don't.

I was a big fan of Siamese Twin Ale when I tried it out a couple months back. I'll pick it up and see if my opinion has changed at all. I remember it being very.... different.

Very different indeed! I had a few cans last week and really enjoyed them.

Picked some up and you are right, it is different. Have to try it again this weekend before I light the barbecue and get pre-occupied.

I supposed "Uncommon" brewers is an apt name but not in a bad way.

Seems to be a good amount in the Hamilton area, either a re-stock or I'm the only one that bought any.

Great photo!!!

A coworker of mine did the same. Granted a male but his wife also drinks. They grabbed five cases of Rochefort 8 before the price goes up and three cases of Abt 12. Insane.
