I'd love to see more beers coming from South America, Australia and NZ instead of another grainy Euro lager....ah well...apparently enough people drink them to justify it.

The six packs of RPA were in at Summerhill today, and it's the same delicious stuff.

Unless I'm wrong, if you buy a case of the stuff, you'll save about 11 bucks compared to when they sold it out of the brewery.

Also, not sure of the date stamps - the box read "L1313" - so...it will be bottled this Friday?

Regardless, it's delicous, fresh, and a lot cheaper than it's been in the past!

Many breweries skip "I" in the date coding because of the potential to confuse it with "1"; if Cameron's does as well, that means this RPA was bottled Nov. 13/13, which makes more sense.

Yes, the L code would be November.

Thanks for that...that does make more sense...so just under a month old...

Hopefully we buy lots and they keep this stock fresh!

It's not listed online, but I saw Old Kentucky Bastard on the shelves at Queen & Coxwell last night.

750 and I think it was 11 or 12 bucks, but I didn't really get a close look. I had my hands full picking up my Bordeaux futures.

Looked like a bomber to me (650 mL, though it could have been 750 mL either). It was $12.95 at Yonge and Summerhill. With the Backwoods Bastard and the Dirty Bastard hitting the shelved there too, there are three new bastard beers today. Goodness, that'd be hard for any beer geek surprises: "he wanted the bastard one..." "um, which one, we have three" "oh, the barrel aged one" "so, which one...?"
