RB: 3.32 average, 80 and 80 percentile
versus Millstreet Cobblestone at 3.41, 88 and 93 percentile....
and while not a dry, Mackeson xxx stout, in a sixer, 3.68, 97 and 98 percentile.
I'm excited about the six-pack form and the expansion of selection. Cobblestone is pretty good, yeah. But there's only so much Cobblestone stout that I want to drink before I'm tired of it. I like having options.
Also, toss Sinha on that list. $2.20/bottle, 99 and 99 percentile.

80/80 on RB and 82/80 on BA are definitely "high enough" scores for me to purchase a beer from a reputable brewery that is arriving to Ontario for the first time in a convenient format at a decent price (compared to bombers, especially). But beyond that I really enjoyed this beer when I had it on tap in the States. Again, really looking forward to buying lots of this when it arrives.

Agreed.

On the topic of 6 packs, the 6x355ml Brooklyn Lager will be replaced in retail by a 473ml can over the next month or so. Price per ml stays almost equal.
^^^Actually, I was just pointing out BDIS's ratings are (marginally) lower than something we already have in Cobblestone. I just expected with the chatter that Brooklyn would have clearly superior ratings, like Bells Trumpeters Stout (96, 99)---then I would get the excitement beyond the six pack format and would be looking forward to trying it.

If you read my post, I already decided for myself that it's a good beer that I would purchase again (having tried it on tap). How long are we going to beat this dead horse?

Ins't this simply Muskoka Detour? Or did they change their branding again...
I believe Muskoka's legal name is Lakes of Muskoka Cottage Brewery. They've dropped the "Lakes of" and "Cottage" from their branding over the years, but they're likely still part of the official corporate name.
Summerhill and leaside both have bottles of double tempest on shelves for 14.95 I think they both got 6 cases and they are the only 2 stores that will have it. Product number is 374678

It's updated to be just Muskoka Detour now, as expected.

Just glad to have a hip LCBO this side of the Donald.
BADLY needed in this market as most of our local brewers and agents seem to think that porters and stouts should only come in large bottles, and at a higher price per ml. I'll be buying lots of this.
OLA DUBH SPECIAL RESERVE 30 YEARS OLD
LCBO 107698 | 330 mL bottle
Price $ 11.80
Now showing stock.
For those of you who have tried this one, is it worth the money? I quite enjoyed the 12 year, and while I couldn't justify picking up several bottles, I was happy enough to pay $6.15 for a single.
