Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

anyone tried that BC mix pack? Is it worth picking up, or is it pretty mediocre?
My thoughts on the mix pack align pretty strongly with groulxsome's. The pack is fairly lager-heavy, with the honey lager being the worst of the lot IMHO. The Saison and Steamworks Pilsner are pretty good for their styles. Elsinore and the Raven Cream Ale are serviceable beers, but not interesting ones. The Dead Frog one is a little weird... I didn't exactly dislike it, although I agree it needs to be re-worked somehow to make it worthwhile.
Last year's pack had a better selection, but I didn't mind this year's. People who dislike lagers can probably skip it, unless they really want to try that saison.
Schneider Hopfen Weisse is on sale 25 cents off, but I can't tell if these are all Jan and March '14 expiry bottles. They look dead clear + chunky floaties, which may be a sign of long storage - I could be wrong? Anyone try one lately?
Now enjoying a St Bernardus Wit, certainly good and more lemony than I ever remembered this beer. Very complex yeast at work here, you know it's St Bernie.

Hey Belgian, what's the shelf life on the StB wit? I really enjoyed this one and wondered if it was worth stocking up on?
^ Two years if the 2016 BBD on the label means anything. We can thank live bottle conditioning for this hardy cellar life.
Anybody kept the St. Bernie Wit a few years or longer to see how it develops, and does it change in a good way? I had an 'expired' bottle at Castros that was just plain sour to my palate.
SUMMER STORM LAGER
Canada | Barn Door Brewing
LCBO 400192 | 500 mL | $ 3.25
It's a Kellerbier brewed at King (as with all Barn Door products currently)
Tried a bottle the other day, a bit more bitterness but less aroma than Creemore. The Malt profile is slightly more subdued than the Creemore as well.
Barn Door is currently offering a buy 3, get 1 free on seasonal products sold at King. I think the only other offering is the Bock in the 500 ml size, the Tombstone India Pale Lager is in 6 packs ($15-ish)
Is Dupont Cervesia or Saison Dupont available anywhere? I've been trying to use the new search engine at the LCBO website but it said these beers are unavailable in Brampton, Guelph, and Orangeville. So I tried Toronto and again none available. That seems unlikely unless they've all sold out.

No Cerevasia showing and limited amount of the Saison in cottage country
