I don't recall it being in any LCBOs last year. We all lined up in the cold and stuff to get it at the brewery.

Yonge & Summerhill had a few cases at some point last year way after it sold out. stocked up!

I got a bottle at Leaside last year. I don't think it sold out in a day or anything.

Picked up a couple 6's at the brewery last weekend, a very honeyish Scottish style ale, but finishes dry. Not a spruce bomb by any means, but it is noticeable in the aroma

Based on the description at that link, it looks like this may be a rebrand of Highlander's Twisted Spruce.

Brian told me it's a tweaked recipe, it's been so long since I've had the Twisted Spruce that I can't compare them directly.

He said the Lion Grass is performing much better at the LCBO than the Twisted Spruce ever did though

It is usually called Amsterdam Wee Heavy. Once called Tilted Kilt. I didn't mind it.
