The Cruiser is quite good as far as session pales go, but 14 bucks?? I think Victory's Sessioner was still under 10 bucks a six pack when I factored in the 25% exchange and everything!

Come on. You're expecting good fresh local session beer to be affordable and easily worthwhile supporting!

On another note nice to see Brooklyn Sorachi Ace arriving. Cork and cage 750 ml bottle refermented 100% with champagne yeast. $9.95.

Long Dark Voyage is only overpriced if you don't get a lazy LCBO cashier who scans the same Lone Pine can 6 times despite the fact half your cans are Long Dark Voyage.

To laziness!

Something tells me this one will be less than exciting, given the Petrus Blonde and Gouden Tripel were forgettably nondescript. Nice glass with them though, funny I'm using the Petrus goblet right now (mmm Sorachi Ace saison from Brooklyn...)

Based on my experiences with those other nondescript Petrus brews, I'd tend to agree, but having had the Aged Pale, I'd say that it's a league above the others. Perhaps the only decent beer the brewery makes. Not mind-blowing, but it'll definitely be worth the $3.75 per bottle for some folks.

(Disclaimer: it's been a long time since I had the Aged Pale, so let's hope memory serves).

1. this?
2. "hop" and "LCBO" makes me very, very nervous. i still question the freshness of any hop-forward beer.

listed on the site now too

ROGUE HOP & IPA
LCBO 405860 | 12x54 mL bottle
SEASONAL/LIMITED QUANTITIES

they really butchered the format. 12 pack of 54ml bottles? And pressed SHIFT before the 7 key on the keyboard? Are the lcbo office staff allowed to drink at work?

The number of breweries of which I'd prefer the LCBO make happen before more Rogue is many.
