Yeah, that sounds about right. I just like calling beer "growler liquid" (I know it's a transcription thing).icemachine wrote: I'm willing to be that's incorrect and their is actually 3 tiers of pricing for growler fills.

It's actually quite good. I wouldn't age this more than this year to be honest, everything is pretty smooth. Four roses really comes through when it gets warmer.spinrsx wrote:this is showing stock now, anyone try it?

Nice! Hopefully that price will come down a little bit as I noticed the IPA and Arrogant Bastard are now $499 (they were 5 something before).spinrsx wrote:new at TBS

Fantastic beer. Would rather see it in tallboys though. Overpriced in the 750's.

Had this last night. I need a case. It is so good...the bourbon shines through beautifully and it has a really rich mouthfeel.

Is this a barrel aged version of their eisbock or "just" their weizendoppelbock? Either way, I'll be trying this one for sure but if it's the eisbock I think I'll be stocking up!admviolin wrote:I'm also pretty excited for this...a wine barrel aged eisbock!spinrsx wrote:new on the lcbo site..

Anyone had experience with this one before? I didn't know that there is a Petrus winter/Belgian dark strong. I enjoy their Oud Bruin and Pale, but the Petrus Blond and Tripel are pretty ordinary.spinrsx wrote:new on the lcbo site..

I like the Hofbrau Dunkel a lot more than Side Launch. Side Launch doesn't impress me anymore.
