lower on the criminality scale (manslaughter) relative to the prices they charge for single malt Scotch whisky - especially over 15 years of age (1st degree murder)!

Sold in cases of 12, all it takes is 4 people willing to part with $216. Not a bad bet in a province of 14 million people.

$4000 bottles of Port Ellen, OTOH, take more than a few days, LOL

Every other beer they have released was in 750ml bottles. Perhaps this is a typo?

Nope. I've seen Illuminati in person and it is a 375ml bottle.

^ As Chris says, 375ml and apparently this is just stupidly rare, and the barrel preparation exceedingly picky.

Makes me want to open a JP Bam right now anyway!

Don't ever look at some 'rare' beers at Premier Gourmet! 8) Evil incarnate, just immoral pricing (haha.)

It's just not the same beer as it was when it was made by Belgians on the Moon.

The Leelanau is 15 or so bucks at the brewery, so the 18 bucks is actually a bit of a discount. Still, if I'm paying 18 bucks for a 375 ml bottle of anything it had better have brewed at 403 Hill Rd.
