The Dupont is on shelves. Picked up a case this afternoon. $66 well spent I believe.
That's the way she goes. Sometimes she goes, sometimes it doesn't. She didn't go. That's the way she goes.

It's a "Limited Supply (while supplies last)" which I guess could mean there is a thin supply, or it could mean there's a bigger shipment in warehouse.

Now enjoying one of the 2016 Bons Voeux I recently got at Cooper St / Queen's Quay. Definitely a noticeably stronger beer but developing nicely. Such a classy bottle.

Has anyone tried the Sinister Minister from Brimstone in the can yet? I feel like I bought a bottle one time but didn't care for it. Maybe it was old or something.

I quite enjoyed the bottle I had back in March. Gave it 3.75 on Untapped "A solid IPA, not a hop bomb but well balanced."

Thanks, I'll give it another shot.

Saison Dupont #489435 $2.75

Rodenbach Grand Cru #492207 $3.30

Oude Beersel Oude Geuze #507996 $7.15

Some great prices there. Hoping these get spotted on shelves soon.

Picked up a four pack of the Rodenbach yesterday afternoon, I'd actually forgotten we were getting it so it was a real nice surprise. The four pack actually rang in as a single....but this cashier was actually smart enough to realize.

Some interesting listings popping up these days ... I saw the Westy 12, which I think someone on here learned from the BO was a "mistake" (weird mistake to make), but now also seeing some other nice Belgian listings (but no in-store availability as yet) such as:

Liefmans Goudenband - LCBO#: 159227 | 330 mL bottle
Kriek De Ranke - LCBO# 642040 | 750 mL bottle

I'm a fan of both - especially the small bottle format of the Liefmans - so hoping for some availability soon.

I'm also loving that we got Saison Dupont in brown glass. This beer always had a skunky smell to it whenever I got the green bottles (despite my best efforts to shield it from light). The one I had today had no trace of skunk. Nice.

Muskoka Harvest Ale is back and is in cans this time 'round, which I anticipated since they've moved most of their lineup to cans. Always been a favourite of mine, and apparently this year it's been made with 100% Ontario ingredients for the first time. Shinnicked Stout is returning as well, along with this year's Winter Survival Pack and a mixed pack for TBS.

I'd be interested in your review of the Harvest Ale once you have cracked it. My recollection is that I've really enjoyed it some years and others not so much.

This, exactly. I find it quite different year to year, almost alternating between good and not. At least it's in cans(singles I'm assuming) invade it's not that great this year.

Will definitely post my thoughts. I agree, despite being one of my most anticipated there have been one or two years when I wasn't as impressed. Still, it's always been a favourite, perhaps driven partly by nostalgia since it was one of the first beers I tried and loved as I was getting into craft beer. One of those beers that I distinctly remember from my early days shifting away from Euro lagers and discount beer.

Great news. That means I'll actually be buying some this year.

The brewery description for this year's version sounds promising. Also interesting that they are calling this a "hop-forward" American IPA. Always thought of it as a cross between an APA and ESB, or North American-style ESB. But it looks like the 2017 is paler, and at ~7% the IPA descriptor makes sense. Looking forward to trying this year's rendition, and glad to see it in cans.
