Funny, I had one today and quite liked it. Best Amsterdam beer I've had in a while. To each his own I guess. I am a fan of these lager-ale hybrids and this one got the balance just right, for me. Maybe having my expectations lowered helped, too.
I'm not a amsterdam basher at all. I enjoy some of their beers. I really liked the colab with GLB Maverick and Gose but damn that 18 hands was just disgusting IMO. Didn't work for me in any way shape or form.
You know what I have in my cellar? Dust, I have dust in my cellar.

By far the worst of the Farmhouse Series. It was Beau's-level lame.

I love root beer, but this stuff is vile. The Ginger ale is even worse.

I'm still in awe of the price, seems too good to be true. $6.95 for a bomber of Old Rasputin, adjusted for CAD that's less than what I paid last time I picked it up in the States (I believe $12 USD for 4 x 12 fl oz).

It's true I just picked up a few at Summerhil and it rang in as exactly that at the register. That is not to saw they screwed up again with the pricing and it could get adjusted so you may want to buy it now just to be safe :D

Only one store ... centre of the universe ... as is the norm for KGBO on "limited" products.
Great ... if you're a billionaire Rosedale resident ...

That's just the normal distribution on the first day of a release. It'll start showing up elsewhere as the shipments start getting processed.

I love this stuff. So much better than the other offerings in the province.
