Maybe the LCBO "sales decider" is now working at TBS? Or a disciple?

Are those 4x500ml cans or are they bottles? I often wonder why more Fuller's beers don't make it over here. I mean they seem to do pretty well. Back before the format change, most LCBO's always carried a good amount of Pride and ESB. Plus the fullers brewery feature seemed to do well and the Vintage Ale seems to mostly sell out every year. I really wonder why they don't expand the product line.

That said I had a bottle of 2013 vintage ale last night. Man it was tasty.
I couldn't agree more, i've been wondering that for years.

Well you must not have very good taste! (kidding.)

Honestly I think this one leans slightly towards a farmhouse ale with barrel treatment, at least in the appeal, it's less 'clean' because of the oak barrel. So that's more the audience for it. I too like good classic Witbier and this is just a different thing AFAIAC.
Yeah I finally caved and bought it. Loved it. Fabulous beer. Almost like a barrel aged sour/saison hybrid. Tasty and tart as all hell and the barrel really came through as the beer warmed, reaching it's peak imo.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Jolly Pumpkin, too much of their house character mixed with a one dimensional sourness. Also found it over carbonated. I didn't dislike it but I won't be picking up more. Still glad to see them enter this market though.

Not showing any stock yet (that I can see), but Parallel 49 Snap Crackle Hop Imperial Rice IPA and Black Hops are both on the shelf at QQ.

Product numbers are different than in the original release, that's why:

386201 for the Rice IPA

that's pretty much what JP is.
boring as hell on tap.
mostly good in bottles.
amazing at the 1 year anniversary of bottling.
most taste similar (except the fruit ones, Bier du Mars and their XY Saison).
will gush unless chilled to 2 C.

Good info atomz. I think I had a horribly bland experience of Jolly Pumpkin on-tap, truly unworthy letdown and that made me doubt. But the Calabanza Blanca bottling is truly a cellar-worthy beer and a case-buy if it ages as you say. I really like it right now as it is - does it stay really good beyond 12 months or should it be guzzled away like a portfaring sailor with more gold than sense?

It's truly cool there are beers that will - like a good Chateau-Neufdupape - truly reward aging by unlocking a great taste experience. Thanks.
