I know it sounds crazy.
I had this beer on tap and couldn't believe how good it was. Had to ask the waitress to confirm it was the Beau's beer I ordered in my glass and not something else. I'm not saying it's incredible, but it's pretty solid - especially for Beau's. They also have a barrel aged version of this beer.

If I come across it, maybe I will give it a shot. These days it seems like I only go to the LCBO once every 6 months.spinrsx wrote:I know it sounds crazy.

So the Brooklyn Ace had a best before date of "May 17" on it. Is that supposed to be May 17th 2015? May 17th 2014? or just May 2017?
If it is May 2017, that seems a bit odd for a beer like this, no?

Belgian wrote:^ Sorachi Ace sounds pretty good, I'll for sure try to get a few. Bottle re-fermented saison with champagne yeast. I like the sound of those rare hops, added post fermentation; overall flavor 'lemon curd' effect.
Would this keep a year or two or are the hops that fragile?
The barrel aged version was delicious. In fact, the majority of the beers I've enjoyed from Beau's are part of their greener futures program. They've had some meh ones recently but overall it's been worth the money to me.spinrsx wrote:I know it sounds crazy.
