drinkvine can be slow to put up the releases. This is because its done by hand. An API really has no bearing on it. For the release pages I need all the information that Greg posts, plus I need pictures, supporting text, rate beer and beer advocate links, plus the scores from the two sites. Its then formatted into a text file so that it can be read by the script which presents the information to your browser.

Multiply that by the 10-15 entries per release and there's a lot of touch points. Its not glamorous work. Once you've done it once you'd rather be doing something else :)

I will try to get them up a bit sooner though. Its good feedback. Thank you.

Absolutely essential to my beer and liquor purchases in Sudbury where the more coveted products arrive sporadically between the three main LCBOs and in such small quantity to necessitate dropping everything to race down to one of the three. Keep up the great work, Ralphus.

Also, I saw they have Railway City Brewing's "Honey Bee'lixir" in swing-top bottles, 650mL i think. I tried one of their 500mL bottles straight from the brewery this past summer, and... well... let's just say I'm not going to buy one of those swing-tops I saw at the store.

Rogue Dead Guy originally had phosphorescent label art, but they stopped this when they started selling gazillions of bombers of this beer.

Because I mean how many of these bottles could anyone want to collect?

Maybe there are large Chinese immigrant populations in certain large urban areas of the province who would love to have another product they were used to buying in the old country available at the LCBO.

Dead Guy is one of my favourite malt-forward beers, but fresh bottles are hard to come by in Ontario (the last two sixers I saw had dust on the caps). This will probably move much better in bombers. Thanks for the heads up!

Whatever the reason I'm happy to see it come in, if the lcbo rotated through every macro lager in the world I'd be ecstatic
