Tried to buy the LOB last week, and it wasn't in the system (though it was on the shelf). The staff wouldn't sell it to me. Haven't seen it put back on the shelves yet.

All the LOB stuff is mediocre at best, they think if you put something in a big bottle you can charge whatever you want and the public will buy. These guys could close up shop and wouldn't be missed by me at all.

Dropped in to the Queen & Coxwell 'BO to pick up a pair of Jewbelations and found a bunch of Tree's Double Hop Head. I didn't know that this was coming back. I can't find any bottling info on the bottle - does any one know how fresh this is?

Yeah, I saw a bunch at the St. Lawrence Market location today, along with some of the Tree Hefe. I hope it's a new shipment and not leftovers that they found in the back of the warehouse...

Looking at the LCBO website stock, it's gotta be new. Which is great, I drank a ton of that stuff last year.

The Tree Double Hop Head is pretty damn good. It's not a warehouse relic.

Yes! I've had some that were a bit two dimensionally harsh dry and resin-y. I will try a fresh bomber.

8.3% ABV, $5.40 - this double IPA is an insane deal compared to any Ontario bomber-sized bottle.

On the topic of pricing of large bottles, I noticed in an LCBO today some LOB Ten Point IPA marked down from $8.95 to $7.20. Presume this is stock from the summer.

LOB needs to step it up (quality and pricing) or they will become regulars in the discount bin.

My TBS in Tilbury recently started carrying Cheval Blanc out of Quebec, a delicious Belgian Wheat.

I know that there is Waterloo Pilsner 12's coming in as well.
