I recently purchased some Smuttynose from the beer store and it had a best before date of Feb 09 2016. With that being said, i've never had this beer before and my first impressions were that the hops had faded. This beer has far more "dankness" than hop bitterness. I know this is an american IPA but i'm getting more of the subdued British style IPA from my first tasting.
