The Pils is not nearly as exciting as Centennial but it's still a damn good beer. And better than pretty much any other lager available at the 'BO right now. So it's not all bad.

It's funny I have been craving lagers recently. There comes a point this season where I get soured and hopped out.

Sometime I just want something crisp and easy, and maybe something I can mix with some decent ginger beer into a shandy.

Mountain Lagers been pretty good, but it's not pils.

(Last tangent then I'm done..)

I LOVED he Garrison Pilsner that came in a few years back...potty we stopped getting their stuff...

I've felt the same way as of late, been craving lagers and pilsners more than ever, Mountain Lager is probably my favourite local lager. As far as pils go, I really don't think there are any local examples that beat a fresh Pilsner Urquell, or Jever when you factor in the amazing price. The Sociable from Common Good might actually be my favourite locally made pils, I was pleasantly surprised.

PC pils showing stock, albeit small amounts. Kind of weird.

most things show small quantities as initial stores receiving shipments receive their allocations.

Grabbed the PC Pils last night and it is drinking very well (a 4/5 for me). With the American hopping it's more of an India Pale Lager than a classic/Continental Pils, but if you like that sort of thing then this is the beer for you. Recommended.

This post took me 2 minutes to wrap my brain around... Its a simple typo... wHat we need :)

I feel sorry for the people "growing up on pineapple-strawberry berliner weisses and NEIPAs. They may never be excited when a pils comes out. I had been buying up lot of turntable Pils from Great Lakes, the Founders may very well replace this on my rotation! #excited

Lurking this thread for a long time, really appreciate all the fine work. Created an account because I was filling in an online order and stumbled upon an Omnipollo and De Ranke by chance:

Thanks mate. Been looking for a couple of items to get me over the delivery threshold, both these fit the bill.

Sawdust City's new "A Place to Stand" is also an excellent Pilsner. I picked up a bunch at the Brewery and was pleasantly surprised to note that the LCBO will be carrying it as well.

This summer I seem to be gravitating towards simpler styles, lots of lagers.

Innocente just put out a Kolsch that is excellent and Stack brewing seem to put out quality lagers, their newest being the Letterkenny Pupper.

Nickel City "light lager" is still one of my favourite offerings from Stack Brewing, funny since they brewed it to be their CoorsLight offering.

I really enjoy pilsners in the summer time as well, but I have a hard time spending craft prices on them when I can get excellent euro pilsners for super cheap year round. There's something weird to me about paying three bucks a can for such a one-dimensional beer. Don't know why that is.

Really wish Steamwhistle was cheaper.
