This is exactly what happened earlier this year when Goose Island released Gillian. A bunch of people reported buying 4 packs of KBS for the price of a single bottle weeks after that.

I was one of those lucky ones who got my 4 pack of KBS for $7.50 or whatever. I also had cans Nickel Brook's Bolshevik rung in for the price of Clifford Porter (about $2.00 cheaper/can) because the cans are a very similar colour and the cashier must've thought they were all Clifford. Sometimes the world gives back in small ways.

What about 396 St. Clair W., anybody know? They showed 48 bottles at 9:00 a.m. but all gone now. As are the five or so cases that were showing in Ottawa. All pulled back, or is it a CBS panic?

As we speak, two cases showing at 71 York St., London.

The ones at St Clair/Bathurst went out of stock online about 10 min before the store opened, I've been keeping an eye as it's the closest LCBO to my work location. Haven't verified physically.

As usual, don't trust the LCBO website for stock: just picked some CBS up at Queen and Cowell. Still some there.

Congrats man. It's really amazing how bad LCBO cashiers are, unfortunately I've been on the bad side of their mistakes too often (PSA: don't bring your own bags and help pack them if you don't want to get screwed).

Some CBS spilled into a local LCBO so I snagged some on my way home from work. It's a pretty small location (Sheridan Mall) and if they got some, I'm thinking this will have a wide distribution.

Congrats to all the early buyers, especially those who got it cheap!
If it keeps popping up I suppose I'll have to go on the hunt, but I'm hoping most will wait until the official release before they sell it.

Talked to a friend who a product consultant and it sounded like there’s going to be lots on trucks tonight, but we’ll see.

now they even removed cbs from the website. I guess most of us will have to wait til the 14th

Haha thanks. I've definitely been on the losing end of LCBO mistakes too, charged for a 6 pack when I bought a single but not realizing until I got home.

I managed to get 4 Founders CBS last night from Brimley and Eglinton, although judging by its removal from the website they might have realized and are cracking down on the mistake.

Grabbed a 4 pack at the Bloor & Royal York location last night. Sounds like there was a small window to grab this before the official release. Never thought I'd see the day where CBS was sold at the LCBO. Also, it's probably been mentioned earlier in the thread, but I believe we are getting this for the cheapest price available, as the CBS bombers are selling for $25 in Michigan. What a time to be a craft beer drinker!

Another somewhat related thought: While it's not nearly as sexy as the CBS, I think it's a pretty safe bet that we're going to get the Azacca IPA (winter seasonal). We already got their other two seasonal releases (PC Pils & Mosaic Promise), as well as the Breakfast Stout and Backwoods Bastard, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Azacca shows up soon. And that would be awesome, because like most Founders releases, it's a great beer.

So...they’ve blitzed it and will not sell it until the 14th. After the Summerhill pancake party!

Seems like they took CBS off the website but it can still be found on shelves. They just put out a case at Ellesmere & Victoria Park. Grabbed a couple more.

Fantastic. Just like the bad old days. It's on shelves here and there, but it's impossible to know where. WAY TO GO, KCBO!
