Today I had some CBS and some Backwoods Bastard, and I would say these are ready to drink now, which I believe is industry vernacular for 'these may be very shelf-stable but won't likely improve.'

I see the agency that brought modern times also carries Alesmith. That would be pretty sweet if that showed up sometime

Drinking one now, orange and lemon zest with bitter finish. It's drinking nicely, but wouldn't go out and buy too many. Also they are packaged in 4 packs, so you may get lucky and get 4 for 1 with a clueless lcbo cashier....

The pale ale is meh, the sour/gose is much better.

I enjoyed the pale. Not really worth revisiting, unless we had a fresher batch or cheaper cans. I'll be drinking these first as I'm sure the stout and sour will hold up better.

The stout is bordering on black lager, thing Napanee Blacklist with coffee.

Had both the pale ale and the stout and was wholly unimpressed. Would not revisit.
