westveltern seems to be another one being used.

The greedy people are at it again....5 or 6 ads on Craigslist now, along with a couple for "empties".

I especially like this guy who keeps posting on both sites. his ads now contain a note for "flaggers to find a new hobby", which just makes me want to flag him all the more. here's his links:

Funny coming from someone who likely spent 3 mornings in lineups or paid others to do so.

It only takes me a second to flag :P

Are they really selling or are the sellers just asking that price?

I don't understand who the people are that are buying these beers creeping towards $1000!

Yeah, wouldn't even $50/bottle be rather expensive in a restaurant? So you could easily get a 6 pack for $300 (plus tax and minus glasses). I think some people just know "this is super rare and it's the best beer in TEH WORULD!", so they must think $650 is reasonable. Or something.

Perhaps they have never heard of air travel. It's actually possible to buy this beer in Europe, I have heard.

I expect the interest over this beer based purely on hype and rarity will wane somewhat. But it's fun to watch.

It seems this question comes up every few pages. Why oh why?

Again, one of the most hyped beers in the world. One of the most rare beers in the world with the hype. The US got almost no product compared to Canada. Many people will buy rather than pay to fly and go get it. Simple economics here. Move on.
