Confirmed, first all-ontario collab will be in stores next week. Amsterdam x Great Lakes. And a great beer to boot!

Nice! That is an unusual one for the LCBO!

Bravo. It looks like a twist on their previous batches of it.

Great name, with the potential for some 'classic' beer advertising...

I'm picturing a bar scene with the quote "Never leave your wingman"!

Seriously though, it's great to see a Gose widely available.

I'm looking forward to trying this (or any) Gose since the last one I drank in Leipzig GMY in 2008. It was very memorable - light, sessionable, tart with berry, salty/sweaty, and 'tanky' - a characteristic I'd never used to describe a beer. It was curiously sour at first, but then also a brand new style of beer for me.

It just doesn't seem like a style of session ale that should cost a fortune to brew, but maybe it just is - and I'll definitely go for it. Especially if it's pouring at the Only, on a nice warm day...

Yup, saw Beau's "And Boom Gose The Dynamite" at Volo a few months back I think. Don't think it was at LCBO though.

Oh I had that one. They should re-name that beer "Beau's Famously Salty Wit."

Beau's would have been good....with like 100x less salt.

Looking forward to this, though. Seems like a perfect beer for the summer.

tasted like it literally was made with bog water. bad finish to it.
first 1/3 of the bottle was good. last 2/3 tasted off.

Interesting. I had it on tap. Was ok I thought (having never had a Gose before) but not terribly impressive. Thought perhaps Gose wasn't my thing. I will have to try a Maverick I guess to give "the style" a second chance.

^ No, Beau's was very much like a regular belgian or dutch Wit with salt thrown into it. It has no relationship to the Gose style that I can connect as a SOUR wheat ale.

Beau's has done two Gose's. They had 'Opa's Gose' at their Oktoberfest a couple of years ago. I remember really enjoying it.
