As some have noted summer isn't always the best release of the year, but this isn't too bad. Looking forward to having the Kipling back, and looks like some strong "Saison" representation.

I normally don't like the summer releases as much as the others, mostly due to the styles they typically contain, but there are a few this year I'm interested in.

Mekkeler, Kipling, Scaldis and especially Cuvee des Jacobins all look like things I'll have to pick up.

Solid release. I've had most of these beers but will gladly drink most of them again. Really excited aboit the Cuvee des Jacobins.

No doubt some with bitch about the fact that ther's no Heady Topper or whatever, but the LCBO has been pretty well covered in terms of IPA's and other hoppy beers lately, both in terms of general and one time offerings, so other summery styles are welcome.

Sorry if I have missed it, but do we have confirmation as to what exactly the Jacobins is? Hopefully the Cuvee des Jacobins Rouge (not a lambic), but it appears Bockor does brew a couple of lambic as well, so it's not clear to me.

I picked up a bottle of the Cuvee des Jacobins Rouge on my last trip in the US and thought it was really terriffic.

The commercial description for the Rogue on RateBeer says "The beer Cuvée des Jacobins is unblended old lambic, aged for 18 months or more." But it's listed under the "Sour Red/Brown" style.

Either way, Sour Red/Brown is one of my favourite styles, so if it's indeed that beer, I'll be very happy to try it.

You and me both, truly great stuff. This will be a mainstay in my cooler this summer, wicked bullshitting around the fire/BBQ drink.

Ha, I was a little upset because I missed out on the Chapeau Exotic Lambic. Then I looked it up on Ratebeer and saw a rating of 7 (3 for it's style) and I got over it right quick.
