I picked up a bottle of Ayinger Brau-Weisse at Wilson & Dufferin, there were only a few left. And it's priced at $2.75, not the $3.95 I've seen posted here and in TO Life.

Confirmed on the brauweisse. It's ringing at 2.75 even though the shelf talker says 3.95. Quite the steal. Bought mine at Bayview Village.

It may not.

Heard about a week or so ago that there was a problem during testing.

Can anyone confirm, Peen?

I was just talking to the current beer category manager and apaprently a lot of the summer release is backlogged due to shipping concerns. BC stuff will mostly go this week. Some of the imports also have label issues.

This happens once every couple of years. Annoying, but shipping is largely out of their control.

The longer they wait they more staling reactions in the beer during shipping. I'm not looking forward to shipping beer across the country in July/August for homebrew competitions...

No idea.....but it is in the warehouse as far as I can tell, perhaps a label issue

You can say that again. Honestly both Denison's and Weihenstephan are pretty good value by comparison. A beer style to be enjoyed in quantity. :)
