Not sure if this is mentioned anywhere else, but the LCBO launched a new website:

Gotcha. The first thing I clicked on was Beer>Ale>Sour and hoped for the best. Alas:

I did complain to the LCBO, and was sent the reassuring message that

The LCBO isn't the best at categorization and this new browsing system just gives people more things to complain about and another thing for them to screw up. Is NB Curvee a sour? Didn't think so...
About: Nickel Brook Cuvée is a rich auburn reserve ale, brewed with premium European and North American malts, Caribbean Demerara and a special mix of fruits, herbs and spices. This beer is then blended with ale aged in bourbon barrels that results in a complex and unique final product. Enjoy it today, or lay it down in your cellar and savor the changes in character as it matures. Cheers!
Also, if they are going to use categories, maybe they ought to hire a dead letter department to take care of some of the phantom and "one bottle in Grimsby" stock.

Well it's not really an 'insight' that they broke the entire searchability of their website, in effect defeating its purpose.

Ya, not a fan of the new site yet, even without doing a search.
Although can't say I ever surfed the LCBO site except at Xmas time....I only ever visited it to search.

I assume they are open normal hours on Monday June 30? My search on their website turns up info from 2013 so I assume that means tomorrow is a normal Monday.

Ask them through HelloLCBO. Earlier in the week I asked them to do a couple product searches for me...

OMG yay. I'm probably never visiting the lcbo website again. It's just not usable for me. New releases are unsearchable, even on lcbosearch and the the foodanddrink sites.

I do love the redesign of the 100 Mile Ale can: http://www.lcbo.com/lcbo/product/100-mi ... 73PxHWx15Q

Must be a joy to know this is how your products are sold.

Wow, the new website is awful. And I've only been using it for 3 minutes. On my laptop and there's no way to scroll down to look at store stock results.

I tried using it today too. Trying to find which stores have a beer you are looking for is a painful experience.
