I wonder what the lcbo is up to.
Each LCBO store orders product from specific warehouses. Perhaps the warehouse that serves Ottawa never got any stock?!? I always call my local store when I want certain products and I ask to speak to the person who orders beer and I ask if they can bring it in. They check the warehouse stock on their system and if the warehouse has stock then they bring in product for me.

Did you call the store and ask them to order this?

So now the lcbo is saying there was just a delay in shipping these beers to ottawa. And that they will come eventually.

I will believe it when i see it.

Peensteen: is there some left in *any* warehouse?

Innes & Tenth Line LCBO in Ottawa will be getting some Mikkeller Texas Ranger. We hope to have more stock in Ottawa soon and will post any updates asap.

Texas Ranger and Black are all that matter in that release.

Just picked up Texas Ranger at Innes. Probably 30-40 bottles on the shelves. Nothing else out yet.

No way, I'll be in Orleans more often. All of our shopping will probably be done on Innes then. I'm going to horde that place dry. You will all have to bow to me to get your beer!! hahahahahahahahaha

had the texas ranger and the monks quad last night. Both were above average beers and well worth trying. Tonight is the K:rlek and then the black.

This overrated garbage is still on shelves at multiple LCBOs. Underwhelming and overhyped brewery IMHO. Feel free to defend ...
Everytime I learn something new I forget something old...like that time I learned to make wine and then forgot how to drive...

No, I don't think that discussion would be interesting or any fun at all. Thanks!

Cream Ale was my least favourite beer of 2014.
I used to sell beer. Now I don't.

The beer is not that much better than other brews that are on the shelves for a buck or two less. This release is just priced too high for the quality / size of the product. I loved Texas Ranger but I walk right past it to grab a tall can of Red Rocket for $1.50 less.

I never tried the Black but the opinion here is that it wasn't great and I didn't feel like dropping almost the cost of a sixer of something I know I will like on a single questionable bottle.
