Canadian Brewing Awards 2016

Decent list:

BREWERY OF THE YEAR – Side Launch Brewing Company
BEER OF THE YEAR – Four Winds Brewing Co., Nectarous Dry-hopped Sour Ale

Have they changed how they declare Brewery of the Year? I'm surprised that Side Launch got it with such a small number of brews!

I do like the Nectarous, but I actually prefer P49s Bodhisattva.

Did they do three entries, three golds?

Looks like Great Lakes took the year off.

31. Light (Calorie-Reduced) Lager

Gold: Labatt Brewing Company Limited, Bud Light
Silver: Moosehead Breweries Limited, Cracked Canoe
Bronze: Molson Coors Canada, Coors Light

And here I always thought that Bud Light made Coors Light seem like a good beer. Apparently I don't know light beer.

I asked this question on twitter and got an answer:

"@ecousineau breweries choose four of all their submissions to represent them for BotY - the medals those four win are weighted and totalled!"
