New Brewery Coming To Edmonton

Post by Cagiva650 »

A new brewery is starting up in Edmonton. Kohler Brewing.
Its seems like they are going for the generic lager market. "Very approachable" "Canadian lager".

I've always been scared to approach a beer, so I am really excited that these guys are going to remedy the whole "approach" thing.

Hopefully they`ll put out some good lagers instead of the generic crap. It doesn`t need to be generic to sell - look at Great Lakes in Cleveland for an example, or Grand River in Ontario.

I wonder if it will be "cold tasting"?
I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.

Jon, I've read their lager comes in a Frosted Mug and then they add a drop of liquid nitrogen to it.

But does it have micro-bubbles?

It has microbial micron bubbles.

The article link says “Our challenge to the Brewmaster was to develop a well balanced, pure, Canadian beer that exceeds the strict criteria of the
Reinheitsgebot, the Bavarian Beer Purity Law of 1516”. I can't wait to see which one of the 4 ingredients they will leave out to accomplish that magical feat.
